Using Custom Attributes & Layouts

In order to customize a Bolstra environment, custom attributes are created and added to the Accounts, Contacts, Contracts and Activities.

This example shows the steps for setting up the account custom attributes, but this set up runs consistently throughout the contacts and contracts as well.

Access the Account Custom Attributes through the administration panel.

Begin adding each custom field one by one, choosing the type of field:

Text – One line of text

Text Area – Multiple lines of text

Date – Date picker with calendar

Numeric – Numbers only

Dropdown – Multiple options to choose from, only one option can be chosen

Once all fields have been created, go to the Attribute Layout and title the new section you will move each attribute into.

Multiple sections can be created. Each line can be divided into either one or two columns.
